Garlic and Cumin Roasted Sweet Potato

About the Recipe

Ingredients

  1. 2 large sweet potato

  2. 1 tbsp garlic puree

  3. Salt and pepper

  4. 60ml olive oil

  5. 1 tsp cumin powder

  6. 1 tsp cinnamon powder

  7. 30ml of maple

  8. 15ml white balsamic

Preparation

Step 1


Peel the sweet potato and cut into rounds about ½ inch thick



Step  2


Lay them into a pan lined with parchment or in a stainless steal frying pan



Step  3


Mix the other ingredients in a bowl and spoon over top of each sweet potato



Step  4


Season with salt and pepper



Step  5


Place into a preheated oven at 375F until the sweet potatoes are soft.



Step  6


Flip only if you thin the one side is getting to dark for you



Step  7


Every now and again spoon more of the liquid form the ban over top of the sweet potato
