People are talking about the latest and best morning, afternoon, and evening routine everywhere we look. The best way to hone in on your craft, dominate your life, and be your best version always seems to come back to who has the most vital routines and habits. And while this may play a significant factor in our success, it will allow us to enjoy each day a little more.

Let's dive into why!

First, let's take a step back and talk about why routines are essential in the first place and the benefits it has in our lives.

Let's quickly look at the opposite side, having no routine or structure is much more draining mentally, physically, and emotionally than any training could ever be. By not engaging in things you know would make you feel better, like exercise, meditation, journaling, proper nutrition, health care habits, and the list goes on, we deprive our body and mind of the energy that these types of positive activities create.

The good news is I bet you do have some of these routines already in place without even realizing it. Your morning routine, bedtime routine, or even your family routines are all rituals you have set up around critical daily events that give our life structure, and this structure alone helps us live more fully.

You might think routine and structure sound restrictive and limit my freedom. This is where I want you to think about your habits, not as rules but as a sacred structure that allows you to execute your entire life with the most ease and flow.

Routines help us manage our time, avoid energy leaks, and most importantly, time leaks throughout the day. We are all looking for more time in the day.

Our success is found in what we do daily, how we manage our day, ourselves and the systems we put in place, whether we know it or not.
